Its head is bright finished and black powder-coated for corrosion resistance, made from alloyed PICARD special steel that is carefully hardened and tempered for strength and durability. The polished face and ball provide precise, clean strikes, while the secure ring wedge fixture ensures a solid connection between head and handle. Equipped with a comfortable ash or hickory handle, this 700 g (1 ½ lb) hammer offers excellent control and balance for engineering and metalworking applications.
